Building Permit Applications/Permits

Description:

Building permit applications are required for all building projects ex: sheds, fences, decks, garages, pools, driveways, new construction and any structural changes made to the primary structure all permit applications can be picked up at the Village Clerk's office during normal business hours. If a project is started without a permit there is a $100 fine.

 

Once the Codes Enforcement Officer has received all appropriate documentation including survey and deed, the codes officer will determine if the application needs to go the planning board for further approval. Once the building permit is approved the codes officer will notify you and the building permit may then be picked up at the Village Clerk's office during normal business hours. The fee is determined by the Codes Officer.

 

Permits are also required for lawn sales not being held on the scheduled dates at a fee of $25.00 for 3 days.

 

Should you have a friend over and they want to camp in your yard for 3 days each month, they may for free with a permit but no utilities are to be hooked up.
